LISP Beta Network was a test network for the LISP "Locator/Identifier Separation Protocol", effectively a DNS-style pull-based routing architecture where routers would register and look up prefixes at a "map server", keeping only a small mapping cache instead of having to receive a full Internet routing table all at once. Packets to an "EID" (identifier) address would be sent tunneled to whichever "RLOC" (locator) was currently registered at the map server.
This site was connected to LISPNet as 153.16.58.208/28 and 2610:D0:21F5::/48 until the network's gradual shutdown in 2020.
