Myth is my home server & NAS, primarily serving as a SMB/NFS server and local Syncthing hub (paired with Ember at my workplace).

Dell Micro is effectively a laptop board inside a book-sized chassis, making for a very reasonable low-power home server. It has one M.2 NVMe and one SATA slot.

The original Dell 3050 Micro (bought refurbished in 2022) had a slightly more powerful CPU, but soon developed a problem with refusing to power on – the power LED would keep blinking orange for an hour or so before the device would finally turn on. This quickly led to getting a used Dell 7040 Micro as a spare, though the original one lasted almost two years before finally getting replaced. Its CPU is one generation older but has Intel AMT for remote console access.

Myth and HomeGW are powered from an old APC Back-UPS Pro 650 (not BR, not CS, but the 2000 model), monitored through a USB-to-serial adapter.
